Your Mental Diet Is Just as Important as Your Physical One
What you consume shapes how you think.
Brother,
We’ve all heard the saying: “You are what you eat.”
But what about what you feed your mind?
Because here’s the truth: your mental diet is just as important as your physical one.
If you’re constantly consuming negativity, distractions, and garbage, it’s no wonder you feel stressed, unmotivated, or stuck.
What you feed your mind becomes the foundation of your thoughts, beliefs, and ultimately, your actions.
The Junk Food of the Mind
Think about what you’ve “consumed” this week:
Mindlessly scrolling social media.
Binging on negative news.
Listening to toxic people who drain your energy.
This is the mental equivalent of eating fast food for every meal. It might feel good in the moment, but it leaves you feeling worse in the long run.
How to Build a Healthier Mental Diet
Here’s how you can start feeding your mind with what it actually needs:
Curate Your Inputs.
Follow creators and pages that inspire, educate, or challenge you. Mute or unfollow anything that feels toxic or pointless.Read Something That Fuels You.
Swap 10 minutes of scrolling for 10 minutes of reading a book or article that helps you grow.Control the Conversations You Engage In.
Surround yourself with people who uplift and push you forward. Limit time with those who drag you down.Take Breaks from Overconsumption.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is nothing. Let your mind breathe by disconnecting for a bit—no screens, no noise, just peace.
The Shift Starts Now
You wouldn’t put junk fuel into a car you rely on to perform. So why do it to your mind?
What you choose to consume today will shape the way you think, feel, and act tomorrow.
Start feeding your mind with things that empower you—not things that drain you.
Stay focused,
Michael

Invest with the art investment platform with 23 profitable exits.
How has the art investing platform Masterworks been able to realize an individual profit for investors with each of its 23 exits to date?
Here’s an example: an exited Banksy was offered to investors at $1.039 million and internally appraised at the same value after acquisition. As Banksy’s market took off, Masterworks received an offer of $1.5 million from a private collector, resulting in 32% net annualized return for investors in the offering.
Every artwork performs differently — but with 3 illustrative sales (that were held for 1+ year), Masterworks investors realized net annualized returns of 17.6%, 17.8%, and 21.5%.
Masterworks takes care of the heavy lifting: from buying the paintings, to storing them, to selling them for you (no art experience required).
